Polls are open 7 am – 8 pm
Wisconsin has same-day registration at every polling site.
If you are in line at 8 pm, stay in line! You are still able to vote.
Workers in Wisconsin have the right to request time off (in advance) to vote on Election Day. For more information, visit the Department of Workforce Development’s website here.
Upcoming Deadlines
OCT 19, 2022: End of By-Mail/Online Registration
Deadline for electors to register by mail or online to vote in the General Election. After this date, electors must register in person in the municipal clerk’s office or at the polling place.
OCT 25, 2022: In-Person Absentee Voting May Begin
Clerks may begin to issue in person absentee ballots at the clerk’s office or designated alternate location(s).
Wis. Stat. 6.86(1)(b) – No earlier than 14 days before the election
Locations and hours of availability of in-person absentee voting are set at the local level. Check with your local clerk for your local options or follow this link to go to MyVote: https://myvote.wi.gov/en-us/Vote-Absentee-In-Person
NOV 1, 2022: Mail in your completed absentee ballot no later than this date to give the US Postal Service 7 days to deliver your ballot to your local clerk
NOV 4, 2022: 5 pm – Deadline for in-person voter registration at local clerks’ offices.
